I used to play this game for ages. My very first owned racing game! So much memories where my father played with me and I always tried to find the most interesting track so he plays with me.
What I've never managed was master it. Did anyone ever play it to the max? Are there any cars/tracks to unlock if you win? Are there any cheats to use/unlock stuff maybe?

The ISO version works fine to play, but how do I get music working? All other sounds play, including FMV audio, but how do I get the MIDI music working?
I'm using the full install too.
Tip for installing: Download the ISO version, look in the zip, and extract the IMG file, then mount the IMG as a CD drive in DOSBox, it should work.

Tried with DOSBox-Pure in RetroArch, but "RALLYC.bat" leaves a black screen with blinking underscore, so sadly not working.
DOS is a pure nightmare to work with.

The RIP version worked perfectly for me on a period-correct Windows 95 machine, and in DOSBox. No need to use RALLY.BAT (this just adds the DOS4GW extender command in front of the executable). On period-correct hardware (assuming a Windows 95 machine), just run the sound setup program like any other MS-DOS game (in this case, SOUNDSET.BAT), and then run RAL.EXE. Thanks for uploading! For those having difficulty getting it to work, remember this sim is over 25 years old, and isn't going to run natively on any modern PC. DOSBox is your friend.

I couldn't make this work. After three days trying to make this work (Game animation starts, then vertical white lines appears when the game should load, then auto closes), I've decided to read the comments. I've tried to download the game from another place as SNAKEOIL SALESMAN mentioned and that worked.
Not sure if it is something in particular with these game files.

honest to fking god, something must be wrong with the download, because it just wont run at all. i do everything exactly like the instructions tell me to do to get this working, but it just wont work. i got the game from another site instead and that worked. myabandonware is not exactly the best for having well-working files, huh?

@nacho --times and records are saved automatically. To save rally championship, choose "save" between stages from the menu. Load from main menu "load rally" option
