It moves viscerally through time and space and creates such vibrant emotional chords that it made me gasp. How anyone can give this film a one star is bizarre to me. This film is a rare combination of poetry and subtle–but no less insightful–social commentary that doesn't hand you political 'answers' on a plate. It gives you room to breathe, to think, to witness, intimately, which is extremely hard to pull off both in terms of getting access to film, and putting it together in the edit room, let me tell you. If I could give it ten stars, I would. Ignore the one stars, do yourself a favor, and give this film the time and attention it deserves.
